Hi, I'm Calvin Bonomo
Software Engineer and Game Developer
About Me
During the summer after my freshman year of highschool, after playing way too much Minecraft, I began work on my own procedurally generated game. This two-thousand line behemoth, unfortunately, did not lead me to indie success, but instead taught me some of the most valuable lessons I would ever learn. From then on I began studying techniques which I would implement in future projects. I would go on to take computer science classes throughout highschool, ending my senior year with an independent study in video game design and development. I had also entered a few game jams, releasing 2 games: Centismash and Constellation Hunter. Over time I developed a particular interest in 3D computer graphics, working with various graphical APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan.
Vulkan Tutorial
My first introduction to Vulkan where I follow a tutorial.
Constellation Hunter
A casual game about relaxing atop a snowy mountain and discovering constellations.
Particle Party
A simple physics engine written in python with Pygame. It simulates continuous collisions between particles and lines.
